National Textile University Students Strike and Protest
for Engineering Council Recognition & Against Military Repression

Hundreds of
Faisalabad National Textile University students are protesting against
military methods and recognition of their rights. Since April 02 the protest
escalated and on April 15 over 250 students went all the way up to Islamabad
to protest against denial of rights. They are protesting against maltreatment
and denial of engineering council recognition. Since Feb 18 a wide range of
student and workers protests are taking place across Pakistan. Among them is
a protest campaign by a large number of students of National Textile
University in Faisalabad city largest province of Pakistan, Punjab. The
